Privacy Policy

Your privacy is of utmost importance to Feast & Phrase. To ensure transparency and trust, we’ve outlined our privacy practices below. Please read this policy carefully to understand how we handle your information.

Collection of Usage Data: We automatically collect Usage Data, generated by your interaction with the website or its infrastructure. This includes information such as the date and time of access, visited pages, duration of the visit, and more. This data is solely used for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking user movement, and gathering broad demographic information for internal use. Importantly, any recorded data is not linked to personally identifiable information.

Collection of Personal Data: We do not collect any personal data, except for the information voluntarily shared when you add a comment.

Comments: When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. After comment approval, your profile picture is visible to the public.

Retention of Your Data: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely for automatic follow-up comment approval. For registered users, personal information in user profiles is stored, and all users have the ability to view, edit, or delete their personal information.

User Rights: If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your personal data or request its erasure. However, some data may be retained for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics for aggregated, anonymized website traffic analysis. Google drops a cookie (_ga) with a randomly-generated ClientID in your browser, containing no identifiable information. We also send Google your IP Address for session tracking and aggregated website behavior analysis. You can delete your _ga cookies, reach out to us using the contact form, or install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On for access to your browsing information.

Links to Third-Party Websites: Feast & Phrase may include links for your use and reference. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of these external sites.

Changes to this Privacy Statement: We reserve the right to alter the contents of this statement at our discretion. Please check this page regularly for updates.
